Married for 4 Months!

Can you believe it? It has been four months since Dusty and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Well, really 4 months and 4 days. Time sure does fly when you are having fun! It has passed so quickly and all we can say is that if its true that your first year of marriage is the hardest, then we are golden, because we are having a great time! In 4 months a lot of things have changed and a lot of fun things happened, so we will just give you a little re-cap of it all...

#1. We got married- May 1st 2010 Salt Lake City Temple (it was awesome, we had a blast, and it rained)
A BIG Thank You to everyone for everything! It was a GREAT day!

#2. We went on our Honeymoon to Portland, Oregon (pretty fun place) (no pics, they are on the other computer...)
Unwrapping our gifts from the Ogden Reception after our Honeymoon

#3. Ashley graduated from USU with a BA in Science!

#4. Hahn/Ott Family ran the Ogden Half Marathon (we all finished!!)
The Ever Supporting Hubby

#5. We moved to ELKO NEVADA and started our "real jobs" (Dusty- Newmont, Leville Mine; Ashley- Barrick Gold, Goldstrike Mine)

#6. Had an Open House in St. Goerge
It sure was fun (and really beautiful!)
Summer did a great job decorating/planning everything! Thanks Summer!
#7. We participated in the "Beers, Tears, and Fears" Bike Race in Ely, NV. It snowed. It was cold. Ashley won 2nd place in her division, thanks to her hubby for FORCING her to finish and the nice man who lent her his rain slicker that kept her from getting hypothermia and dying. It was so much fun and we are totally planning on doing it again next year!

#8. We spent the 4th of July in St. George. We went swimming with the fam, shot off lots of fireworks, and went Jeeping with Dusty's parents. It sure was a lot of fun, we wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with them!

#9. Spent the 24th of July in Ogden. Cousins from Switzerland had just moved back and were staying at Ashley's parents house. We got to do a lot of boating and swimming with them (which is always a blast!). The night of the 24th we did fireworks and swam/outdoor movie (Cool Runnings).

#10. We went to Cedar City in August with Ashley's parents to see "Much Ado About Nothing" and "The 13 Steps". They were both so good and we had an amazing time. Got to stop by and spend Otto's (Dusty's Dad) Birthday with him.

#11. Work, work, work, on-call, and more work!

As you can see we have sure been busy, but we are having a great time and feel so lucky to have such awesome jobs (3 day weekends are the BOMB) and such great family. And of course, we feel super lucky to have eachother!
